Innovative, needle- free technology

EziAutoJector® utilises advanced jet administration technology to deliver insulin through a high-pressure stream via a precision nozzle.

In contrast to traditional needle-based injections, where insulin may remain around the injection site, the jet delivery system ensures the insulin is deposited directly into the subcutaneous tissue for faster absorption.

This method enhances the efficiency of insulin delivery while minimising the discomfort commonly associated with needles.

By accelerating absorption, it also provides time and cost savings, offering a more efficient and user-friendly solution for people with diabetes.

The back of the EziAutoJector® device is rotated to compress a spring that is used to power the EziAutoJector®. The release of the spring forces insulin through a small orifice of a special nozzle, creating a thin, high pressure stream of insulin that penetrates the skin. This way, the insulin is deposited into the subcutaneous tissue where it disperses, allowing for better absorption and faster action.

Yes. It is recommended to involve your Diabetes Healthcare Professional in any discussion and decision relating to switching to the EziAutoJector®, like any changes to your diabetes care.

Yes. You can switch to the EziAutoJector® but, like any changes in the management of your diabetes, the changeover period needs to be carefully monitored, and the Diabetes Healthcare Professional who is involved in your care should be consulted.

The EziAutoJector® should only be used on the recommendation of a Diabetes Healthcare Professional. These specialists are best suited to assess whether the EziAutoJector® is a suitable system for any individual patient.

The orifice of the EziAutoJector® is 0.15mm in diameter, which is much smaller than conventional needle gauges used for subcutaneous insulin administration. For comparison, a regular needle gauge is about 0.40 - 0.45mm in diameter.

Yes. EziAutoJector® has been clinically tested on people with a higher BMI. The jet administration has proven to be a highly effective measure to administer insulin for this group.

A clinical study from 2015 found that insulin administered by needle-free jet administration corrects marked hyperglycaemia faster in overweight or obese patients with diabetes.

We recommend always consulting a Diabetes Healthcare Professional first, to determine if EziAutoJector® is suitable for you.
